Our mission

to provide complete visual access to the foundations of English, empowering deaf and hard-of-hearing learners to build an accurate and complete phonological map

to offer a multisensory, evidenced based synthetic phonics program that minimizes auditory fatigue and cognitive overload

to understand each learner's strengths and areas of need, developing a tailored intervention that supports each individual's  language, literacy and communication goals

to develop confident, proficient readers by eliminating barriers to equitable literacy instruction

Qualifications and expertise

Marie brings 27 years of educational expertise from Australia and the United Kingdom to her work as a dedicated literacy and language tutor, educational consultant and homeschooling parent.  Her life long passion for education, language and literature has defined a career spent researching and designing targeted learning intervention programs and scaffolding instruction to support diverse learning styles. Through her extensive work within the homeschooling community, Marie has developed a deep expertise in supporting students with complex needs, fostering a profound respect for each learner’s unique pathway to language and literacy acquisition.
